Winter is here!

Carl told me the other day a storm was coming, and after hitting england it came to sweden, but with snow instead of rain thankfully! I love snow! This is the first proper snow this year, better late than never i guess, haha. And at the moment I'm not sure if the snow is just flying around or if it's actually snowing still. But it's VERY windy. haha. And i do not recomend anyone to drive very far today as you can't really see much. haha.

Anyway, the winter outfit is on and it's time for some christmas tunes and baking! Wihoo!

Christmas cuddles

At the moment i'm watching julkalendern, it's a very swedish thing it's for kids really but it's quite nice i think. It's a show that goes on for 15 minutes every day from the 1st to the 24th of December. Every year it's a different show, some are boss and some are a bit .. too childish for a 22 year old.. haha can't beleive i'm 22.. getting old!

After this show i might start decorating the gingerbread house i put together bofore the show. Can't wait for next year.. Already thinking about my next house.. or i might put one together for my dads family when they're on holiday.. hmm.. We'll see!

Mariestad

Hi everyone,

Today i have learned two things, if you're handing out CV's in shops/cafés/restaurants, do it on a Monday morning! The shop manager is most likely to be in, and then you might as well take the chance and meet the manager straight away and leave a good first impression. :)

The second thing is, Mariestad doesnt have any mean or rude people living here. I've been speaking to quite a lot of people the last couple of weeks and i have only met really nice people. I'm not sure why this is but it might be because it's such a small city? I love it anyway. Now i just need to make some friends and get a job i like and it's all perfect!

Friday!

It's finally friday again, not that it matters that much to me as i don't have a job at the moment. But it means i get to cuddle my boyfriend for 2 days. :) So i've hada retty productive day today, applied for a few jobs and done some house work and stuff. I am just about to start reading a little bit in my book (I taket lyser stjärnorna). Not dure if it's been translated into any other languages, but if so you should read it. It's about a 14 year old (i think) and her mum suffers from breast cancer. Really good book, and film!

Ah well, that's it for now, have a great weekend, and if you have any jobs goinf around Mariestad/Skövde, let me know! haha.

Productive day

I'd say i've had a pretty productive day so far. Started the day with some breakfast and a shower, done some washing, sorted out a lot of bank and CSN stuff. cooked some food and now done some more washing and now I'm posting a blog. Great, also watched the latest episode of Made in Chelsea. I think it's my absolute favourite show of all times. haha. Best thing about England! (not really).

Now in the afternoon i'll work on my catalogue and my website for Rebecca of Sweden - my jewllery collection. Exciting times ahead! You'll be the firs ones to know when the website is live!

All charities are scams.

Oh hey, blogging more today that i have all last month i think. yey me! anyway I have started to realize how many itiots i have on my facebook friends list. So now every time i see someone post something redicoulously stupid i just delete them straight away - no 2nd chances. These are all people i don't really know anyway so it's not like they will even notice.

Anyway this morning i started reading my facebook as always and i came across some sort of article about the ingredients in a vaccine. I did not read the article because her post annoyed me too much for me to even click on it. But basically it had some cells from a dogs kidney or something in it and also some cells from a plasenta (don't know what animal).

This might not seem very cool at first, i mean dog cells and things.. but at the same time, you do not have to kill a person to get some cells do you? then i'm sure they don't go around killing dogs to get their cells. Dogs lick each others arses all the time and they seem perfectly fine, i would happily have some of their immune system or cells or whatever.

My boyfriend couldn't help himself and got invloved in this discussion and asked the girl what the issue was as she eants chicken nuggets, meatballs and vegetables sprayed with God knows what. Everyone knows whats in nuggets and meatballs.. It's the meat and pieces of the animal noone will use for anything else.. Also this "friend" of mine eat eggs.. so one would think eating a plesenta should be perfectly fine?

As if shit isn't bad enough, she is now saying we should all stop giving money to cances charities as people still die of it and it's just a billion dollar industry and it's all a scam. I am sure there is small pice of truth in that statement but what the actual fuck... How many lives have been saved because of cancer research? How far have we got from giving money to chairity?

Young children still die of thirst in Africa, should we stop giving money to that as well? Absolutely not! This girl need to sort her head out and get a grip. She is making herself look like an absolute idiot on facebook and what she's saying makes no sense.

Should we stop making stairs? people die falling down stairs!
Should we stop having water in our homes? people die in the bath!
Should we stop buying cars maybe? i bet more people die in car accidents than of cancer.

Anyway, she got deleted.
This is not the first person i have deleted because of stupid posts this week.

Another example is a girl (also) who posted a "news" article from a quite racist news website.
This article was saying that everyone moving to Sweden will get 30 000kr a month for doing absolutely mothing. (30 000kr = £3000). This is absolute bullshit. And i beleive that anyone reading anything on that website and beleive what they read are all idiots. You can't go to a website called something like wehateblackpeople.com and think they aren't racist and take in what they say. If you do, i just don't want anything to do with you.

Let me tell you somwthing, my boyfriend just moved from england to Sweden, he is keeping his english job and he does not have a personnummer yet. without that he can't get anything. NOTHING.

The truth is, if you add every benifit you can possibly get, that's about 30 000.. but a lot of these can't be combined, therefor there is no way you can get this much money without having an actual job. I think the average amount of money you can get without having a job in Sweden if you just arrived is about 8000kr. Which is not very much as food and things are pretty expencive here..

May i also point out that this girl who posted this has no job and did not go to school for as many years as "normal" people. She is clearly not very bright and i feel a little bit sorry for her and her stupid little brain.

----

Sorry about this blogpost, i am not going to spell check this as i don't feel like it at the moment, remember english is not my first langage so i think i've done pretty well! haha.

This is all my oppinion and the ladies i have been writing about can ofcourse have their own oppinion if they want - even if it is stupid! Hopefully next time i blog it will be more of a happy blogpost! haha. see you sooon.

God Morgon

Good morning, just sitting here with my brand new laptop. Absolutely love it, touch screen and everything. haha. At the momennt i'm looking at some furniture for our flat online, we might be able to move in this week so I need to sort this put. I'm eally looking forward to moving to our own place. Not that i don't like it at my dads it's just hard to go from living alone together and then go back to living with the family. I'm sure we'll be over here quite a lot though. Sofia makes good food so it would be rude not to! haha. Anyway, time to get some work done!

And because i love my laptop cam so much, here are some pictures from 5min ago!

Starta eget

Hire me!

Moving back to Sweden

I can't believe the luck we've had so far with our move. But at the same time it is so much more complicated moving to Sweden than to England, and people in Sweden keep saying "People just walk in here, there is no stopping it!" Well now i know for sure that that's not true at all.

For example the waiting time to get a personal number in Sweden is 6-8 weeks, without this number you can't do anything. I mean it, you can't even get a library card. And the only reason Carl will be getting one is because he is working so he will need to pay Swedish tax eventually.

We have had some issues getting a flat because Carl doesn't have this number, i do, but i don't have a job in Sweden yet. Carl is the one with the job, i am the one with the number. But this has finally been resolved thanks to the greatest dad in the world.

So up to now our move has been going as smooth as it possibly could. Fingers crossed nothing bad happens the next couple of weeks. I can't wait till all the papers are signed, Carl has his number and he can stay in Sweden forever if he would like, till we have our flat and are proper set up.

Two weeks tomorrow, then we leave England - for now anyway.

Pub Wednesday

So, I only just realized i only have another 3 pub Wednesdays left in England. We have already decided what pubs we are going to these last 3 weeks, but I can't believe we're leaving for Sweden in less than four weeks. I mean i know i only have 17 days left to work but that still sounds like quite a few days.. But 3 pub Wednesdays, we need to pick our dub dinners carefully from now on. Haha.

Thursday, 5 September 2013

It's a new start.

Looked at my phone today and my countdown says it's 34 days till me and Carl move to Sweden. People keep asking me if I'm excited about going back home, to be close to my family and friends again. I am, but I'm also sad leaving my friends and family here. I like it here. I love it here, but we both think Sweden will be better for us. And besides, with Carl's family living here and Carl still working for Procure Wizard we'll be back over all the time. And for everyone who's never been to England - It's an awesome holiday place if you like shopping and relaxing in pubs with some friends.

The other thing people ask me is what am I going to do in Sweden. To be honest i have no idea. I have a project I've just started, well it's a company but it's not registered yet so I'll call it a project till it's started up properly. It's also a bit of a secret but you'll find out what it is pretty soon.

But clever as I am, I know starting up a company won't be enough money to live on so I will need another job as well. I'm looking at the moment but I find it really hard writing my CV. My job I'm doing now is hard to describe, it says System support in my contract but i do everything really. I don't think system support is a fitting role title for my job anymore. And I don't really know where to start looking for jobs. What do i go for? Do i settle for a job is a shop like Asda or do i go for it and apply for jobs where i see myself growing and getting somewhere in life?

All it makes me think is how lucky I was to get the job I have now. It's a great job and I'm in the same office as my boyfriend. And I'm actually surprised how well it's worked. I mean not everyone can be around their partner 24/7 without going insane. Haha. I guess it just works when you're crazy in love and happy with each other.

I am really looking forward to going to Sweden, it's like we're starting over, making our lives better. I think our lives will have a better quality in Sweden. If you think about jobs and starting your own thing Sweden is ideal. Sweden supports the small people to do good. I really like that. Sweden is also a lot better when it comes to housing and starting a family. Not that I am plopping out a little one anytime soon but you know at some point in the next couple of years it will probably happen.

I think Sweden will be really good for us. I think it's the right decision and I am really looking forward to it.

This is Mariestad, a small city pretty close to Gothenburg, this is where we will start our lives in Sweden.

Starting a charity

Hello, so i have decided i would like to start a charity. Great, all good so far. the problem i have is i don't know how to get the money to the the people in need. I have done a lot of googleing and stuff and i can't find many charities like the one i want to start so I think it's a good idea, it's needed and there is not much out there like it.

I don't want to tell people my idea yet, because even if it is a charity and even if it's good if someone else does this, it's still my idea and i want to do it. because it's fucking great! But for example, let's say someone from England would start a charity which collects money to build a school in Peru, how do you actually get to build the school. I mean the actual building. Surely you can't just go to Peru and start building something.

If you want to build a house in Sweden you need shitloads of permits and stuff. If you want to build a house in Thailand you have to be from Thailand to own the ground the house is on. How does it work? Does anyone know? I have been trying to find out but i can't really find anything good and serious online, and you don't really know what's true and what's not..

If anyone know's please leave a comment.

Alcohol and drunk people

As i am moving back to Sweden in a couple of months i get a lot of this right now "Aaah no! we have to go out to Liverpool and get pissed" as much as i like going out dancing with my friends it seems like they sometimes seem to forget something.. I don't really drink!

I'm not going to say i don't drink, because i do. I just never get drunk. when i drink this is what happens Drink - feel a bit weird - stop drinking - get tired - going home. Yes that's me! i'm the boring one that always goes home at like 1. Which i really don't mind. Because at 1 in the morning everyone I'm with are too drunk for my taste and I'd rather go to bed half sober at 1 than wake up hungover like someone threw a house at my head the next day - simples!

Also when I drink with my friends now, as i am a slow and boring drinker i don't drink enough according to them, so i get a lot of this "drink drink drink drink".. Let me tell you something, nothing puts me off drinking more than that. It might be the aspergers inside me but i drink when I'm thirsty, i drink things that tastes good and i drink when i want to drink. End of story.

I think it's a little sad sometimes to see how some people HAVE to drink on a Friday night, because it's Friday. But I'm guessing those people think I'm a little sad for watching a film instead. I just think that people who drink loads need to leave people who doesn't drink loads alone. haha. STOP TELLING ME TO DRINK PEOPLE!

That's that for now.
PUSS HEJ!

87 days left in the office.

I'm in the office eating my lunch and trying to relax for 5 before the phone rings and i have to get back to work. It's only 87 days now till my last day in the office. I'm thinking about taking a couple of days off at some point, just don't know when. On my days off i plan on going shopping one of the days, and doing absolutely nothing on the other one.

It's weird thinking i won't have a job anymore in 3 months. What if i don't find a new job? It's a very scary feeling. I was very lucky to get the job i have now. It has been a great opportunity to learn a lot and to know what i like to do and also what i don't like to do. This office has a great vibe in it as we're all family. We're like a big happy family in here. I don't think I'll get that anywhere else.

It feels like I'll be both sad and happy on my last day here. It's a good and safe job, but I'm up for a challenge. I'd like to do something cool, maybe something I've never done before..

Exciting times ahead.

C'MON MURR MURR

Watching the tennis, never watched tennis in my life but it doesn't look that hard. i might give it a go? Haha. Anyway it's been a busy day, trying to make this mess look like a little bit less messy. But i guess you cant really keep your flat clean with you are moving out in a couple of weeks. Maybe i should stop being lazy bow and get back to cleaning..

Wimbledon and strawberries

Yeah ok, i dont watch tennis, but i like strawberries. So this morning we went to out to pick strawberries with Lee and Kerry and little Jessica of course. So now i'm waiting for the tennis to start so i can eat them. haha. :)

Friday

So, it's been a while. I have been busy packing and working. Tomorrow it's 3 weeks till we move out. I cant wait! most of our things are packed and we are sending it to Sweden next week.

Anyway, so my mum was here for a few days this week, so i had half the day off yesterday and i took her to Liverpool for some food and shopping. Got myself a leather jacket as well, i remember in school when everyone had a black one and i didnt, for two reasons:
1, i didnt have enough money to buy one.
2, I was too fat to actually look good in one.
haha, but the one i got yesterday was a size 6 which made me feel awesome for the rest of the day. Good times! So how have you been the last couple of weeks? anything exciting going on? :)

Wednesday, 19 June 2013

My boyfriends tshirt and a hat.

So, my body hates me. Ok, it's all my own fault. I have a really red upper body and cant really be in the sun, and don't even get me started on my face. So i went and bought a hat this morning, and i now have to wear it at all times. It's a pretty hat but it's also very windy around here which makes wearing a hat a bit of a challenge. haha.

Anyway so i just got back from the beach, had a shower and now I'm writing this. I am not sure what we are going to do tonight, this place is not the wildest place on the planet.. (i would say average age on this side of Lanzarote is 45). We're going out for dinner to the same place as last night though. Awesome place, we have been twice and tried different things every time, and they have all been delicious.

Anyway, this is what we look like today, and this is also how you chill on the beach - like a boss!

Half way through.

Half way through our holiday now. :(

I still look like a lobster but today we're going to the beach anyway! Will need to wear one of Carl's tshirts all day though.. a bit lame.. but better than not being able to move at all. haha. Time to get ready for the beach, wiho. here are some pictures from our holiday so far..

Lanzarote

Hello, got our internet last night and it's pretty shit so havent really been able to blog. but here it is, a blog post from Lanzarote. It's amazing here, whenre we are it's mostly couples and families which is really nice because i dont like drunk people. haha.

Today we have chilled by the pool all day and then just took a little nap. I look like a lobster.. hahah. not even joking, i thought my back was a bit red from yesterday so i didnt want to burn it, so i decided to only tan the front today.. So now my face, belly and legs are sooooo red!! Not even cool. haha. Hopefully it will turn brown soon though! :)

Tonight we're eating paella, we were meant to last night but i started feeling really bad after being out in the sun all day, didnt drink enough i think.. But I'm feeling much better today! Anyway, so fat this has been an awesome holiday! :) 10/10

Let's be friends!
